Bitcoin + Solana

Bitcoin Runes and Solana markets are the long-term design of RUNES. Coin creation and trading are live on Solana. Native Bitcoin Rune issuance and bridging are not active. Each launch review identifies the network used by that transaction.

Coin records

A RUNES listing identifies the chain where the token was created. New launches show Solana mainnet, their mint address, trading pool and creation transaction. The RUNES brand does not itself establish a Bitcoin Rune or Bitcoin backing.

Bitcoin-linked assets

Bitcoin details and a bridge action are shown for an asset when its Rune, etching and linked vault have been verified. A wrapped Bitcoin trading pair is not proof that the paired coin has a native Bitcoin Rune.

Bridge accounting

For eligible assets, a withdrawal locks existing Solana tokens before an operator sends Bitcoin Runes. A verified incoming Rune deposit releases locked tokens. This design uses operator custody and an attester trusted by the Solana vault. It does not verify Bitcoin with an on-chain light client.

Always check the Rune ID, receiving network and deposit instructions for the exact asset. Sending ordinary BTC is not a Rune token deposit.
